Corn Maze Fun

Nov 8, 2008
Our church had a family day at a corn maze in Midland. It was a blast!! Karson really got into all the activities and seemed so much older than he was. It was a great day of fellowship and family fun.
This picture got out of order. Karson was the guide through the maze. He did an excellent job picking the right path to take. He would pick one way, Papaw another but guess who was always right- KARSON. We made it through the maze quickly with his help. He was our little "Diego". I enjoyed watching him explore and figure out the next path. He is such a smart boy!!

Karson and his friend, Kylar, waiting to enter the maize.

Train ride on the cows. Mom even rode. She picked this cow for her and Korbin. Notice the name-Jezabel. MeMe thought that fit me just perfect especially since I used to have a doll named Jezabel. The train was pulled by a tractor just around the dirt field that they had made bumps and turns in. Needless to say it was very uncomfortable for adults. It was just barrels with a 6" board to sit on. TOO Small and very bumpy!!!

MeMe and Papaw enjoying the hay ride.

PaPaw entertained the little guys-Karson, Kolby, Korbin

Korbin stuck pretty close to mom the entire trip

Korbin picks out the best pumpkin.

Karson finds him a BIG pumpkin.

The had two huge slides for the kids-and adults. This one was a huge black pipe the kids slid through. It really shot them out!!

Korbin loved it. He kept going back for more and came out smiling. We had to watch him because he would take up the 12 ft stairs by himself. He is my adventure guy.

The 2nd slide was a 40 ft plus metal slide that you rode down on burlap sacks or silk pieces of material for a faster ride. Korbin loved it also. He went with anyone that would take him. Here he is with our youth Minister, David. David took pics the whole way down.

Mom, MeMe, Korbin, and Karson race to the end. Karson wanted to go up by himself and do it. I wasn't sure if he would after climbing all the stairs and seeing it from the top but he jumped right on the middle slide, waited for us and raced us down. Sad to say but Mom was a little scared since it was so tall. Karson loves slides so it didn't bother him.

Mom and Korbin race the Tech crew-Kelley, Kolby, and Michelle

Korbin and Kelton get a ride from PaPaw. He was a great pusher through all the dirt and curvy paths.

MeMe checking out the questions to determine where to go next

We're LOST

Last activity of the day- Shooting Corn cobs out of guns. Karson and Papaw attempted to hit the targets but not sure how great they did. It was fun for both of them. Papaw really does great with the boys and loves to show them all the different adventures. He is always teaching them new tricks or about something they see. The boys adore Papaw and I don't blame them!!
