Kelton's first days at home

Kelton arrived in this world and never slowed down. Mom and dad didn't let him stop and rest for a minute. His life has already been filled with adventure and visitors.
Spending time with my big brother, Karson
Dad always has an extra spot for Emmy(the dog)
Kelton getting spoiled by Andy's family friend from Iowa. She made the trip to see Texas and help with the boys.
Watching the boys play and learning all the good and baby tricks
Lyneil is always telling me a story or singing me a song. I love my aunt!!

On my first day home, we went swimming. I got to sunbathe with Papaw
Next day we went to the pool again. I better like the pool as much as mommy goes!!

"Glow Bug"

Kelton had jaundice and it wasn't improving so we had to put him on a light box 24 hours for 4 days. It was not any fun to not get to hold our little angel. I do not know how those that are in NICU do it. I was soo ready to get him off the box and into my arms. He was a good eater and pooper so his bilburbin levels came down quickly. It was fun to see him glow!!

Chic-fil-a Baby

July 4th we went to the Midland Rockhounds baseball game. They were giving out Chick-fil-A hats for everyone to wear. On the back was a coupon for a free sandwich on July 11th- the day Kelton was supposed to be born. We began a joke about it and Brent collected all he could and was going to buy everyone lunch at the hospital. How Sweet!! Only problem was that we ended up at the other hospital that didn't have a Chick-fil-A. Dad took Brent to eat though across town and everyone got their sandwich!! You could get a full meal deal if you dressed up like a cow. Brent didn't go for that!!

We are Still Around

Yes, we are still here!!! Time just disappears during the day. We headed out with Brent last weekend for our first horse show in Glen Rose. It was fun but extremely HOT and HUMID!!! The AC in the trailer was hit and miss because the generator would get too hot and cut off. Of course, all the RV hook-ups were taken. Needless to say, we sweated a bunch and didn't touch each other. It wasn't fun for mommy with boys hanging all over her!! We survived and are going to Waco in less than 2 hours-yes, note the time 1:45am and we are leaving at 4:30am. That's what happens when you decide you are going at 4:30, have ladies Bible class and boys to feed and put to bed before you pack. At least I can sleep on the trip. Hopefully after we return I will get more pictures up next week. The last post is still a work in process as the pics took too long to upload.
